Sandnes

Sandnes Garn was founded in 1888 in Sandnes, Norway, and is the largest producer of hand knitting yarn in Northern Europe. It is one of the world’s most up-to date spinning mills, in one of the oldest factories still running. Give or take 14 million bundles of yarn leave the factory every year! Sandnes take their commitments to sustainability seriously, and state that their goal is for everyone taking part in the production of their yarn; animals and people, to be taken care of in the best possible way.
