Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn has been on the market since 1938, and remains as popular a yarn today as it was then. 

Peer Gynt is made of 100% Norwegian wool, which makes it light and warm, and it grows softer every time you wear it. It is durable and pill-resistant, and its superior resilience ensures that your knitwear keeps its shape over time - and somehow it still feels so beautiful against the skin!

Washing instructions: Machine washable on delicate mode (max 30C).

For machine washing, Sandnes recommends that all wool garments are washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Due to the unique absorbency of the merino wool, it is important to centrifuge hand-knitted garments well before drying  them on a flat surface, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
