Brushed Lace from Mohair by Canard is a perfect silk mohair yarn of the highest quality. It produces a beautiful soft mohair 'halo', due to the carefully selected super fine mohair kid fibres blended with the finest mulberry silk.
Mohair by Canard ensure that only super fine and long fibres are used, as this gives the best quality - no silicone or other softeners are added to achieve the softness.
It is wonderful knitted as a single strand, or combined with other yarns to achieve different gauges. This really is the gold standard of silk mohair yarns!
Material: 72% kidmohair, 28% mulberry silk Yardage: 25g/ 210m Weight: Lace Suggested Needles: 2.5mm-5mm Washing instructions: Mohair by Canard advise to hand wash at about 30 degrees, preferably in laundry bag. Can be thrown into the machine at 600 revolutions in a laundry bag. Always use a wool detergent. Must be laid out flat on a towel to dry. The washed knit can be smoothed and possibly stretched a little for resizing.
