Lang Yarns
Lang Jawoll, 50g
Lang Jawoll, 50g
Lang describe Jawoll as the "Rolls Royce of sock yarns", and they're not wrong! Tried and tested a million times, this timeless fingering weight superwash sock yarn includes a spool of reinforcement yarn for heels and toes.
The wool is sourced from Corriedale sheep living in the wilds of Chilean Patagonia. During shearing, only the best parts of the fleece are selected. The average thickness of the fibre is just 25 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 mm), so the wool feels super soft against the skin, and is very comfortable to wear. This makes it take dye well, and the finished yarn is highly resistant to pilling.
Think bigger than just socks - this fingering weight wool yarn works beautifully in all kinds of garments and accessories too!
